Prime Spectroscopy: exploring the distribution of prime numbers

In this talk, which is suitable for students, I will give an introduction to the distribution of prime numbers, including the Riemann Hypothesis and explicit formulas for prime counting functions. I will show how to explore this computationally and finally I will share some work in progress exploring the distribution of a mysterious subset of the primes.
