At the SANUM 2015 Conference hosted by the University of Pretoria from 30 March to 1 April, Professor Ingrid Rewitzky was the guest speaker at a special function for young mathematicians (all postgraduate students, postdocs, and academics who obtained a PhD in the last 5 years). She facilitated a reflection on “Advice to a Young Mathematician” that appeared in The Princeton Companion to Mathematics edited by Timothy Gouwers with associate editors June Barro-Green and Imre Leader, published in 2008 by Princeton University Press. In particular, the “WEALTH” of a Mathematician and how to become a “WEALTHY” Mathematician was discussed.

Professor Ingrid Rewitzky was ‘n gaspreker by ‘n spesiale funksie vir jong wiskundiges (almal nagraadse student, nadoktorale en akademici wat hul PhD in die laaste 5 jaar verwerf het) by die SANAM 2015 Konferensie wat by die Universiteit van Pretoria gehou is van 30 Maart tot 1 April. Sy was die fasiliteerder van ‘n bespreking oor “Advice to a Young Mathematician” wat oorspronklik in die Princeton Companion to Mathematics met geredigeer deur Timothy Gouwers, met sub-redakteur June Barro-Green en Imre Leader, wat in 2008 deur Princeton University Press gepubliseer is. Die “WEALTH” van ‘n Wiskundige en hoe om ‘n “WEALTHY” wiskundige te word, is bespreek.
